Colour guide
Metallic - District green
Free
District Green isn’t offered on very many Audi models, happily here it can be specified on all four trims. It manages to look both sophisticated and sporty, giving the Q5 a very distinctive look in the process. Green isn’t always a popular colour but this smart hue may well buck the trend come resale time.
Metallic - Glacier white
Free
A slightly fancier version of the free Arkona White colour, Glacier White comes with a shinier metallic finish. White colours always do well on the used car market, although you’ll need to clean it more often than darker colours as mud and dirt show up all too easily.

Metallic - Grenadine red
Free
Metallic - Mythos black
Free
Mythos Black is always a favoured colour thanks to its subtle metallic sheen. It is available on all trims and you won’t notice dirt and mud splatters on the body panels as readily as you would on lighter hues. Just make sure you get it washed properly to avoid unsightly drying marks.
Metallic - Navarra blue
Free
Navarra Blue looks superb across all trim levels, adding a touch of sportiness and elegance to the Q5. It will do well come resale time and is less prone to showing up dirt than lighter colours. It’s a great choice and is worth seeing in the metal.
Metallic - Volcano grey
Free
Pearl - Daytona grey
Free
The only pearl effect finish offered on the Q5, Daytona Grey is a dark colour that gives the Q5 a premium and luxurious look. It should be a sure-fire hit on the used car market, and it isn’t a fussy hue to keep clean.
Solid - Arkona white
Free
The only no-cost option available across all trims, Arkona White is a popular choice on the Q5. Another plus point is that it hides small scratches and marks better than darker hues, although dirt and mud will be easy to spot.
Solid - Brilliant black
Free
It’s free and looks good on the Q5 as the solid finish blends in well with the black exterior trim. You can only have it on the base Sport trim though, and be careful not to leave swirl marks when you clean it as they can be easy to spot. At least you won’t need to wash it often as the darker hue hides dirt well.

Metallic - Azores green
£645
Metallic - Floret silver
£645
The metallic shine of Floret Silver gives a bit more visual flair to an otherwise bland option. It’s not quite as popular as the greys, blacks and whites on offer, but shouldn’t be tough to sell on.
Metallic - Java brown
£645
Metallic - Manhattan grey
£645
Manhattan Grey is a dark colour with a nice metallic shine. It gives the Q5 an upmarket look but is offered here only on the base Sport trim. It should help the Q5 retain its value come resale time and won’t need endless washing as it doesn’t easily show up dust and dirt.
Metallic - Matador red
£645
Unlike the brighter reds that are offered on the smaller Audis, Matador Red is a darker shade that looks a bit more mature to suit the positioning of the Q5 SUV. It’s limited to the base Sport trim and looks good even with its smaller wheels and basic body kit. Bear in mind that red hues are not very popular so may be a hard sell on the used car market.
Metallic - Monsoon grey
£645
Metallic - Moonlight blue
£645
Metallic - Utopia blue
£645
Metallic - Chronos grey
£675
Chronos Grey is a subtle shade for the Audi Q5. It's not the most interesting to look at, but it's not your typical plain grey – there's almost a hint of green to it, which adds a little intrigue.
Metallic - Ultra blue
£675
A more vibrant and brighter blue than Navarra, Ultra Blue is a far sportier and more extrovert choice. It is available on the top two trims and brings out the sharp creases and lines of the Q5 well. It shouldn’t show up dirt too easily, so you won’t need to be cleaning it all the time.
Special metallic - Chronos grey
£675
Grey might sound like a bit of a let-down after some of the more vibrant colour choices here, but the metallic sheen elevates it above the more mundane greys hues out there and it remains one of the most popular colour choices with new and used car buyers.
Special solid - Quantum grey
£675
Special metallic - Sakhir gold

Audi Exclusive - Custom
£2,400
If you aren't satisfied with any of the off-the-shelf colour options for the Q5, then you may want to consider one of the fancier colours and finishes that are part of the Audi Exclusive catalogue. Be warned that these paints are considerably more expensive than the other options available for the Audi Q5.
