Colour guide
Special metallic - Ocean deep
Free
This is a great colour to have available as the Qashqai’s only free paint finish. It’s a deep and lustrous green-grey-blue that looks very classy, even on such a familiar shape.
Two tone pearl - Ocean deep with pearl black roof
Free
Ocean deep is a really classy colour for the Qashqai, although arguably it’s too dark a shade to work well with the optional black contrast roof. Good to see that it’s a free, standard colour though.

Metallic - Blade silver
£625
Yes, it’s yet another silvery-grey mid-size crossover but the brightness of Blade silver works fairly well on the Qashqai. It could do with being a tone or two warmer, to make it look more welcoming on a wintry day, but that aside it’s a good option.
Metallic - Gun metallic
£625
Metallic grey is never a bold choice, and for us, it’s one of the safest options available. Sure it’s nice having a metallic colour that can glint in the sunlight, but the best reason to get a darker colour like this is that it’s easy to maintain and dirt doesn’t show up as easily.
Pearl - Black
£745
A decent shade of metallic black, but the Qashqai has quite a plain, familiar SUV shape and so needs something more interesting to really make it pop.
Pearl - Fuji sunset red
£745
This is a great paint option for the Qashqai. It’s hard to go wrong with a good, bright red and this one works really well with the Qashqai’s new, wider, grille and slim lights.
Pearl - White
£745
As white paints go, this is a pretty good one as it has a depth and a sparkle to it, but there’s still a danger that it ends up looking too cheap, especially from a distance.
Special metallic - Ceramic grey
£745
There’s a distinctly Porsche-style vibe to this metallic grey finish, which does look smart on the Qashqai, but on dull UK days it looks a bit too flat, and needs warm sunlight to really bring it to life.
Special metallic - Magnetic blue
£745
Magnetic blue is a very bright and vibrant blue, and works very well with the Qashqai’s lines. It’s possibly not one for shrinking violets, but you’ll have less chance of losing your Nissan in a crowded car park. Looks great with the optional black contrast roof.
Two tone pearl - Ceramic grey with pearl black roof
£745
This combo is only available on higher-spec Qashqais, and it looks fine but arguably there’s not enough contrast between the grey and the black.
Two tone pearl - Fuji sunset red with pearl black roof
£745
Red with a black roof is a really strong look, but this is reserved only for higher-spec versions of the Qashqai.
Two tone pearl - Magnetic blue with pearl black roof
£745
Magnetic blue is not your usual plain navy blue — it’s a strong and vibrant colour, and it works well on the Qashqai with the optional contrast black roof.
Two tone pearl - Pearl white with pearl black roof
£745
The optional contrast black roof helps to lift the Pearl white, but arguably it’s still too plain a colour.
