The three finalists for the prestigious World Car of the Year 2024 have been announced, but how much will you have to pay to park one of them in your driveway? Read on to find out.

The three-car shortlist for top prize in the 2024 World Car Awards showcase innovation, technology and desire: the Volvo EX30, the Kia EV9 and the BYD Seal.

The overall winner of the World Car of the Year for 2024 will be announced on 27 March. Until then, let’s take a closer look at the finalists and how much it will cost to get one on your driveway.

The Three Finalists

Volvo EX30

The new Volvo EX30 is one of the best all-round electric cars on the market, so much so it’s already been crowned Carwow’s Car Of The Year for 2024. It boasts a combination of sleek styling, great assistance tech and fantastic value for money with prices starting from £33,795. That makes this stylish Swede cheaper than a Peugeot E-2008, a Renault Megane E-Tech and even the BYD Atto 3.

Kia EV9

If you’re looking to carry seven people in your electric car, then the Kia EV9 is a fantastic way to do it. It not only looks great, but the EV9 has a properly posh cabin, acres of interior space and it’s great to drive as well. You’ll have to part with £65,025 for this Kia, although you can save an average of £1,000 if you buy through Carwow.

BYD Seal

The BYD Seal is the third finalist for the World Car of the Year for 2024, and this Tesla Model 3 alternative has a lot going for it. It’s well-equipped, comfortable and offers good range. It’s also pretty stylish, both inside and out, and it’s good value at £45,695. You can save an average of £1,200 off a Seal through Carwow.

The winner of the 2024 World Car of the Year Award will be announced on 27 March. If any of these cars take your fancy, configure your ideal model through Carwow to save some cash.
