Think of the BMW i4 as an electric version of the 4 Series Gran Coupé. It looks similar, but with no exhaust emissions thanks to the choice of three electric models. Choose between quick, very quick, and downright bonkers.
BMW i4 deals: save up to £11,000
The BMW i4 range usually starts from £51,270, but through Carwow you can get it for £46,234. At the time of writing, this makes it £15,000 cheaper than the Audi A6 Sportback e-tron, and almost £24,000 less than a Mercedes EQE.
The biggest savings can be found on M50, with up to £11,000 off.
Even the entry-level Sport comes with LED lights, an automatic tailgate, three-zone climate control, sports seats, and a twin-screen cockpit. The M50 has sportier looks as well as an awful lot more power.
While the speed of the i4 is what impresses on paper, drive the car and it’s the quietness and refinement that make a stronger impression. This is a brilliant car for long journeys, with a range of up to 365 miles depending on the exact model. The infotainment is stunning, too, and the standard of finish puts Tesla in the shade. Rear-seat space is tight, though, and even the M50 isn’t as much fun as one of BMW’s petrol M-cars.
