SUVs come in all shapes and sizes. But if you’re on the hunt for something that looks like a jacked-up hatchback, then the Kia Stonic should be on your radar.
You can jazz up your Stonic with optional multi-tone colour schemes. Not only that, you can also deck the Stonic’s interior out with colourful inserts and details. These certainly help make the cabin easy on the eye, but be aware that many of the interior trims are made from hard, cheap plastics.
Kia Stonic deals: save over £3,400*
The Kia Stonic usually starts from £20,760, but through Carwow you can get it for £19,105. This makes it over £3,800 cheaper than a Volkswagen T-Cross.
The biggest savings can be found on the 2 model, with £3,410 off at the time of writing. This model comes with an eight-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, air conditioning, cruise control and rear parking sensors. Outside, you’ll find 16-inch alloy wheels and some satin roof rails as well.
Its 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine (with mild hybrid assistance in most models) feels perky and has the muscle to tackle long motorway journeys. Its tyres, however, produce a fair amount of noise at speed, which could become tiresome on motorways, but other noises like wind and engine roar are well suppressed.
