Tom Barnard
Freelance Contributor
Tom has worked in the motor industry for 30 years, starting as a journalist on automotive magazines before moving into PR, working for a series of car makers in the UK, Europe and Japan. He then went freelance and now writes for various websites, magazines and national newspapers.
When he’s not writing about them, Tom has a strange fascination with cleaning cars for fun, sometimes surprising neighbours when they jokingly ask if he’ll "do mine next”.
His little fleet of cars currently comprises of an original Nissan Leaf, a 1984 Land Rover, a very low-mileage Mk1 Ford Ka, a Panda and a Mk1 Audi TT Roadster which he bought by mistake at an auction.
