About the Tesla Model Y

The Tesla Model Y is a fantastic electric SUV with a lot to offer. For starters it’s hugely spacious inside, with loads of rear passenger space, a massive boot and a good-sized storage area under the bonnet.

It also comes loaded with tech as standard. You get heated front and rear seats, a heated steering wheel, wireless phone charging, a panoramic glass roof and adaptive cruise control included across the range, as well as a 15.4-inch touchscreen which is really easy to use. That said, the button-free layout may not be to everyone’s taste.

Go for the Long-Range model and it’ll do an impressive 372 miles on a charge, and when you are running low you can just pop into one of Tesla’s excellent Superchargers to quickly top up.

Out on the road the Model Y is very easy to drive. You get a great view out, the steering is nice and light and there are plenty of driver aids to take the strain out of daily driving. It’s pretty comfortable over bumps as well, and you can get a Performance version which is properly quick.

Why lease a Tesla Model Y?

Leasing your new Tesla Model Y takes almost all of the stress out of your new car purchase. You simply put down an initial deposit and pay a series of monthly payments, then at the end of your term you hand the car back and you start again with a new one. It’s a great way of getting into a brand new car every few years for less than the cost of buying on finance.

Because the car is new, you’ll always be under warranty so any problems will be dealt with free of charge, and road tax is usually included in the price as well. All you have to do is pay for insurance and charging - it really is that simple.

FAQs

Yes you can! You can check out the latest Tesla Model Y lease deals through Carwow to see how much you can save.

This will depend on your personal preferences, but leasing is a great way of taking the stress out of buying a car. You have a brand-new car under warranty, usually with tax included, for a fixed monthly payment.

However, it’s not ideal if you plan to keep the car after the contract is up - leased cars must be returned when the term ends. You can check out our full leasing vs buying guide to find out which is best for you.
