Colour guide
Solid - Alfa red
Free
Alfa Red is the only no-cost colour option for the Stelvio, but that’s not to say it’s one to avoid. On this handsomely styled SUV it brings a distinctively sporty look, and makes for a smart contrast against the dark trim elements at the front and rear of the car. Being a solid-finish paint it won’t sparkle in the sun, but it still looks pretty great.

Metallic - Misano blue
£700
This bright shade of metallic Misano Blue looks utterly fantastic when applied to the Stelvio, but you’ll have to opt for the pricier Veloce and Estrema trims to be able to option it. It makes for a vivid contrast against those cars’ darker wheels and trim elements, and brings a really racy look to this family SUV.
Metallic - Vesuvio grey
£700
Compared to the other colours that are available with the Stelvio, Vesuvio Grey is a more reserved colour option, and lends the car a more understated and conservative appearance. Still, that should play into its favour when the time to sell comes around. Being a darker shade of grey, it’s likely that it will show up a bit more muck and grime, however.
Metallic - Vulcano black
£700
Vulcano Black is another classy colour choice for the Alfa Romeo Stelvio. Unlike a lot of other black cars, it doesn’t make the SUV look overly boxy and heavy either - which is definitely a good thing. That said, it will make scratches more easily visible, and you’ll have to spend a lot of time cleaning it over winter as well.
Special - Montreal green
£2,000
Tinted clear coat - Etna red
£2,500
This rich shade of red is available exclusively on the mid-range Veloce model, and it looks simply fantastic. There’s far more detail to the finish of this paint colour than the standard Alfa Red option, and it looks utterly sublime when exposed to direct sunlight. It’s unlikely that it’ll negatively affect the Stelvio’s residual values come sale time, either, as red is a colour the car wears very naturally.
