Colour guide
Additional Metallic - Dew silver
Free
Essentially, this is the exact same colour as the regular Dew silver shade - meaning it's a sparkly-but-safe paint to pick for your Audi A1 Sportback. The only noteworthy change is the price: whereas the standard Dew silver is a paid-for paint, this Additional Metallic variant is available at no extra cost (though only if you pick the Black Edition trim).
Solid - Shell white
Free
Shell White is the only solid finish available for the A1 and is a no-cost option on all but the Black Edition trim (which gets Python Yellow as a free colour instead). Aside from being free, it has the additional benefit of masking small scratches well, although you’ll need to get the hose and car shampoo out regularly to keep it looking its best.

Metallic - Chronos grey
£575
A sparkling metallic grey colour that is available on the two upper trims. It is just about dark enough to hide dirt and road grime, and grey is one of the more popular colours out there. That should help you get a good price for your car come resale time.
Metallic - Dew silver
£575
Not the most adventurous choice for a small and sporty hatchback, but Dew Silver adds a dash of sparkle to the paintwork thanks to the metallic finish. It will do well on the used car market, but there are several more exciting paid-for colour options out there.
Metallic - District green
£575
Green isn't the most obvious colour sometimes, but this District Green is a nice colour for the A1. Audi has introduced it across multiple models and it seems to work on all of them, and it looks great here especially with the Black Edition trim.
Metallic - Glacier white
£575
If you fancy white but don’t want a solid finish, then Glacier White with its metallic speckled paintwork is worth a look. It won’t show swirl marks as easily as darker colours and the used car market loves a smart white colour.
Metallic - Manhattan grey
£575
Limited to the two lower trims, Manhattan Grey is a very dark hue that gives the A1 a suitably upmarket look. It blends in well with the dark exterior trim and won’t need constant cleaning as it hides dirt well.
Metallic - Mythos black
£575
Black is always a popular colour for German cars, and the metallic shine on Mythos Black adds an extra layer of sophistication here. This dark colour is great at hiding dirt and muck, but deeper scratches can be more visible than on lighter colours.
Metallic - Navarra blue
£575
A dark blue colour is always a good choice, and Navarra Blue really suits the Audi A1. It is limited to the two lower trim levels where it blends in well with the black exterior trim and gives the little hatchback an added dash of elegance.
Metallic - Progressive red
£575
If you want to make your A1 easy to find in a crowded car park, this Progressive Red is an excellent choice. It may not help as much with the car's value if you choose to sell it on second-hand, but it looks good alongside either the silver or black trim.
Pearl - Arrow Grey
£575
Grey can sometimes look a bit insipid, but that doesn’t apply to Arrow Grey which has a premium pearl effect finish. This is a lighter colour which will need a bit more effort to keep clean when the roads are muddy, but it certainly looks smart and is worth considering.
