Black is always a good choice as it is easy to keep clean and will be easy to sell on due to its popularity on the used car market. It’s only available on the base Sport trim, though.

Metallic - Chronos grey
£675
Metallic - District green
£675
District green is a relative rare colour on Audi models, but here you can spec it on all four Q5 Sportback trims. It looks sophisticated and posh, and will definitely get you noticed in the car park. Green has historically been a rather unpopular used car colour, but we suspect this particular hue will be desirable in the years to come.
Metallic - Floret silver
£675
Floret silver has a metallic sparkle that slightly enlivens what is essentially a rather bland hue. It doesn’t need constant cleaning, but aside from that plus point we’d look at some of the more interesting colours before settling on this one.
Metallic - Glacier white
£675
The posher white option for those who prefer the shinier metallic finish. It should be just as popular on the used car market, but mud and dirt show up all too easily around the wheel arches. Seeing as Glacier white costs the same as all the other metallics, take a look at what else is on offer before committing to this one.
Metallic - Manhattan grey
£675
Manhattan grey is a dark hue with a sparkly metallic sheen. It is offered solely on the base Sport trim, and is a good choice if you like a very dark colour but prefer not to go for one of the blacks.
Metallic - Mythos black
£675
If you want a black colour on your Q5 Sportback and don’t want the base model then this is your sole option. It is quite popular and has a subtle metallic sparkle. Dirt and road grime don’t show up easily, but a poorly washed car will leave unappealing drying streaks so make sure to dry it properly.
Metallic - Navarra blue
£675
Blue is one of the more popular car colours in the UK and it’s not hard to see why with shades as appealing as Navarra blue. It looks great on all trims, especially when paired with a light interior colour.
Metallic - Ultra blue
£675
Ultra blue is a sportier, more youthful shade of blue than Navarra. It is available on all but the base trim and is certainly one of the most eye-catching options here. If you want to get noticed, then this is the colour for you.
Pearl - Daytona grey
£675
Daytona grey has a glossy pearl finish that sets it apart from the other solid and metallic options. The dark hue gives the Q5 Sportback a sophisticated look, although you can’t option it on the base Sport trim.
