In its entry-level Sport Edition guise, the BMW i5 comes as standard with a huge 14.9-inch curved infotainment display, climate control and a suite of driver aids including a partially-autonomous parking assist and blind spot monitoring. Other changes include M Shadow Line lights front and rear and red-painted brake calipers.

As well as extra power and four-wheel drive, the M60 xDrive has more aggressive styling than the eDrive40, with black surfaces for the front apron, contour line lighting in the kidney grille, 20-inch M light alloy wheels and a diffuser insert in the rear apron.
