Metallic - Okenite white Free

Solid - Polar white Free

White is the go-to choice for many UK car buyers, and it can give the right car a sharp, clean look. Solid Polar white certainly does that for the C4, but its quirky lines look so much better in a more exciting colour. Still, if you don’t want to spend extra on a paint colour, then this isn’t a bad choice.

Metallic - Caramel brown £545

Metallic - Cumulus grey £545

Cumulus grey looks a bit like a dull silver colour, even though it has a metallic finish. It doesn’t quite suit the C4, as it isn’t the kind of car that blends into the background. It won’t look dirty after every downpour, though, and grey is always popular with used car buyers.

Metallic - Iceland blue £545

This is a light blue hue which looks great against the black exterior trim pieces and certainly highlights the funky character of the C4. It gives this crossover/hatchback an elegant look, although being a lighter colour means that dirt and mud will be more visible than on some of the darker shades on offer.

Metallic - Obsidian black £545

Metallic - Perla nera black £545

The Citroen C4 has predominantly black exterior body cladding, with some subtle silver accents on the grille and wheels. This works very well when combined with the metallic Perla black colour. It’s also an easy colour to keep clean as it masks dust and road grime rather well.

Metallic - Platinum grey £545

If you prefer something a shade or two lighter than pure black, then Platinum grey is worth a look. It’s still a dark hue, but the curves and lines of the C4 are more visible, especially on a sunny day. It also shouldn’t require a wash after every downpour.

Metallic - Eclipse blue £595

Pearlescent - Pearl White £700

Pearl white is a posher cousin to the no-cost Polar white hue. It has a pearlescent sheen to it that definitely looks more elegant, although you do pay more for this than even the other metallics on offer. And you’ll need to get it washed regularly to retain that lovely shine.

Premium metallic - Elixir red £700

Whereas the other colours on offer are all about subtlety, Elixir red is one for the extroverts. It is a bright and deep hue that will have people turning their heads as you arrive for the school drop off. It looks stunning on the C4, but it needs regular washing and reds aren’t always a quick sell on the used car market.
