Colour guide
Metallic - Bluefire Blue
Free
This deep blue colour looks great on the XE. It can be had on all trim levels, but looks especially stylish on trims with silver exterior detailing. It’s less fussy to keep clean than lighter colours and is always popular with used car buyers.
Metallic - Eiger grey
Free
Grey is a perennially popular choice with car buyers, and Eiger grey spices things up by adding a metallic shine to the bodywork that looks great in bright light. It’s still grey though, and the XE really deserves a more exciting hue to bring out its sporty lines.

Metallic - Firenze red
Free
Firenze red is slightly pricier than the solid Caldera red option, but its metallic finish gives it a much posher look. It does benefit from regular washing and polishing to bring out its shine, though, and red isn’t always a popular used car colour.
Metallic - Santorini black
Free
Santorini black has a nice shine to it that accentuates the Jag XE’s sporty lines to great effect. You can spec it on any trim, and it works nicely with both the silver and black exterior finishes. It’s also less likely to need a wash after a downpour as it masks dirt well.
Metallic - Yulong white
Free
Solid - Fuji white
Free
Fuji white is the only no-cost option for the XE, but that certainly doesn’t make it a bad choice. It looks good on all the trim levels and works on both the black and silver exterior detailing. Great for those who’d prefer not to spend extra on a paint job.
Special solid - Caldera red
£300
Caldera red is the only other solid finish offered on the XE. It is cheaper than the metallic options but doesn’t quite have the lustre of these pricier colours. It does give the XE a sporty look, but we’d rather spend a bit extra and opt for one of the other colours available.
Metallic - Hakuba silver
£600
Hakuba silver is a pretty standard hue with a metallic shine that won’t need constant washing and should be popular with used car buyers. It doesn’t quite do justice to the XE’s sporty bodywork, though. And seeing as it costs the same as some far more adventurous colours you may want to look at the other options first.
Metallic - Ostuni pearl white
£600
The eye-catching metallic finish on Ostuni pearl white gives the XE a more upmarket look than the no-cost Fuji white option. It will benefit from regular washing to look its best, but at least small scratches and parking lot dings will be less noticeable on this lighter hue.
Metallic - Portofino blue
£600
Portofino is a slightly deeper and darker shade of blue than Bluefire. It looks stunning on this compact sports saloon, giving it a very elegant demeanour. Dirt won’t be as noticeable here as on lighter shades, although it really shines when given a proper wash and polish. It will also be very popular with used car buyers.
Premium metallic - Carpathian grey
£950
Carpathian grey is one of the two more expensive premium metallic colours. For the extra outlay you get a deep dark grey look that really stands out in brighter light thanks to the metallic finish. Grey is also a perennially popular hue and should do well on the used car market.
Premium metallic - Silicon silver
£950
Your second premium metallic choice is Silicon silver. It’s a slightly darker and posher looking shade of silver than Hakuba but costs a bit extra. It certainly looks premium, though and will be les fussy to keep clean than lighter colours.
