Entry-level 2 models come with an impressive amount of equipment, including cruise control, 16-inch alloy wheels and LED brakelights. You also get a reversing camera and 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone mirroring, DAB digital radio and Bluetooth connectivity. If you want sat nav or partial leather seats, however, you’ll have to upgrade to a Blue Edition model or above.

The Kia Ceed GT Line has 17-inch alloy wheels, rear privacy glass, heated front seats and steering wheel, dual-zone automatic air-conditioning, a reversing camera and Android Auto/Apple CarPlay compatibility.

High-spec ‘3’ models are the pick of the Kia Ceed range. They come with the same 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone mirroring, DAB digital radio, Bluetooth and sat nav as Blue Edition cars alongside tinted windows, 17-inch alloy wheels and partial faux leather seats with electric lumbar adjustment for the driver. Cruise control is standard, alongside rain-sensing wipers, dual-zone air conditioning and some metal-effect trims on the air vents and door handles.

The Kia Ceed GT Line S has 18-inch alloy wheels and a panoramic sunroof. It also has cruise control with Stop & Go, front and rear parking sensors and blind spot monitoring. Inside are heated front and rear seats and an eight-speaker JBL sound system.
