Colour guide
Solid - Arctic white
Free
Plain white and big SUVs is a tricky combination, as you’re just a few minutes with a Sharpie away from setting up your own UN convoy. The CX-60 looks fine in Arctic white, but there are far better (although much more expensive) choices here.
Metallic - Platinum quartz
£650
Platinum quartz gets faint hint of gold and brown which makes it look a little warmer and more inviting than a conventional metallic silver. It veers dangerously close to beige in some lights, though.

Metallic - Sonic silver
£650
This plain, simple silver is a bit of a winner, especially come resale time, although the CX-60’s sheer size and tall sides make it work pretty hard. Not the most thrilling colour, but it does look smart.
Mica - Deep crystal blue
£650
Mazda’s deep metallic colours are always a good choice — as a brand, it has some excellent colour options — and deep crystal blue is no exception. It’s deep enough to be classy and appealing, and on sunny days you’ll pick out highlights of green and aquamarine. It also helps to hide the CX-60’s bulk, which is a good thing.
Mica - Jet black
£650
Jet black is a smart and safe choice for the CX-60, and you’ll have no trouble come resale time, but it is a bit of a boring choice, and the equally sensible Crystal blue brings the shape to life much more nicely.
Premium metallic - Machine grey
£750
Metallic dark grey is always a good, sensible option for resale value, especially on a large SUV such as this, but there’s no denying that it’s a bit too predictable and just a bit boring. It looks fine, but not memorable.
Premium metallic - Rhodium white
£750
Rhodium White is a new Mazda colour that was developed for the CX-60, and it's a lovely shade. While whites can make cars look a bit plain, this has a really pure look that has an almost liquid appearance up close. It certainly doesn't feel like the cheap option, which is good, because it's one of the pricier paint options.
Special metallic - Soul red crystal
£900
Soul red is a fantastic paint option On cloudy days, it looks sober and classy, while on sunny days it pops with fantastic depth of colour. Red is always a safe bet for resale too, so you may as well treat yourself to the best CX-60 colour option.
