As standard, the AMG E53 comes with leather upholstery with red contrast stitching, a sporty flat-bottomed steering wheel and a widescreen infotainment display consisting of two 12.3-inch screens. You also get sat nav, smartphone mirroring and mood lighting, alongside 19-inch alloy wheels, automatic headlights, adaptive cruise control and a 360-degree surround-view camera system to help make parking as easy as possible.

Night Edition Cars come with the exterior Night Package, which blacks out the chrome and replaces it with gloss black trim. There are heated windscreen washers, useful for winter, and a clever system to utilise the engine’s residual heat to keep the car’s heater going. Inside, you get carbon trim and Nappa leather upholstery.

Limited-run Edition 1 cars come with a significant upgrade over the regular Premium Plus E53. Not only do you get the Dynamic Plus package with new driving modes, but you get a limited-slip differential for better cornering and uprated brakes. A carbon-fibre pack marks the interior out, as do Edition 1 decals, while the interior gets a badge on the centre console, embroidered headrests and floor mats and yellow stitching.
