The Night Edition version of Mercedes's performance AMG luxury electric saloon looks the part thanks to its 21-inch matt black alloy wheels, high-gloss chrome detailing and AMG rear spoiler, while the interior features heated front and rear seats, panoramic roof, Burmester surround sound system and brushed stainless steel sports pedals. The tech levels are impressive, including the clever MBUX augmented reality navigation system that uses the main infotainment screen to project arrows over the front-mounted camera's view of the road to highlight the correct turn.

As the range-topping EQS AMG model, the Touring gets larger alloy wheels, going to 22 inches and a matt black multi-spoke design, while this trim level also gets a heated windscreen and steering wheel, as well as sliver brake callipers. These additions build on a technology-laden standard list of kit covering a huge range of advanced safety and convenience systems, such as augmented navigation and rear-steering capability that sees the rear wheels able to angle by nine degrees to help parking and tight turns.
