£143,605As well as getting the most powerful of all AMG’s V8 turbo engines, the Night Edition version of the GLE SUV gets adaptive air suspension with AMG’s Active Ride Control system. There’s also 22-inch AMG alloy wheels finished in matte black, high-performance composite carbon-ceramic brakes, and a limited slip differential on the rear axle. Inside, you get double sun-visors (for when you’re getting dazzled through the side window), heated windscreen wipers, a black mircofibre roof liner, ‘Crystal grey’ seatbelts, AMG’s Track Pace system imbedded into the infotainment, and carbon-fibre dashboard trim.
