While hatchbacks are ideal for city living, that doesn’t mean you should overlook small SUVs. And if you’re looking for one with an off-road aesthetic, this car is worth considering.
I’m talking about the Jeep Avenger – a small family SUV that’s ideal for city life thanks to its diminutive stature, but comes with a hint of pumped up off-roader styling that gives it real character. You can get a zero-emission Avenger Electric, but this petrol-powered model is available with two 1.2-litre engines – one with mild hybrid assistance, one without.
Jeep Avenger deals: save over £5,100*
The Jeep Avenger usually starts from £25,049, but through Carwow you can get it for £22,346. This makes it around £2,000 cheaper than the Ford Puma.
The biggest savings can be found on the Summit model, with £5,131 off at the time of writing. This model comes with 18-inch alloy wheels, heated seats, and some useful extra interior technology such as heated front seats and wireless phone charging.
The Avenger may be small but there’s a decent amount of storage dotted around the cabin. However, while it feels quite roomy up front, those in the back will find legroom incredibly limited. At 355 litres, the boot is smaller than most alternatives, too.
