The Tesla Model Y line-up opens with the Standard Range, which has rear-wheel drive and a smaller battery than the long-range models, so you get 311 miles between charges. The free colour option is Stealth Grey and you get 19-inch alloy wheels. Inside the all-black upholstery is standard, but you can pay extra for white. All models get basic Autopilot, but again, you can pay extra to upgrade this.

Long-Range models get a bigger battery, which means the range goes up to 387 miles for the rear-wheel drive version and 353 miles for the all-wheel drive model. Charging speeds are slightly quicker, too. You get the choice of 19- or 20-inch alloy wheels on both models, while all-wheel drive versions get an upgraded sound system and a premium interior.

Launch Edition models are being sold in limited numbers and are based on the Long Range AWD trim. They get some unique badging for the interior and exterior, as well as an acceleration boost feature and a vegan suede upholstery for the interior.
