July 10, 2014 by Paranjay Dutt
The Citroen C4 Grand Picasso is a seven-seater MPV that offers a good looking design and frugal engines. Although it’s certain to stand out with that unmistakable styling, how good is it when it comes to an MPV’s reason for existing: space? carwow has brought together all the big Citroen‘s significant measurements to help you decide whether it’s the right family people-mover for you.
Exterior dimensions
In terms of size the Grand Picasso is on par for the class. Next to its two most significant rivals – the Ford S-Max and Renault Grand Scenic – it touts similar proportions. Its overall length is just a little longer than the Renault Grand Scenic (4,573mm) but shorter than Ford S-Max (4,768mm). It’s narrower than the other two cars; Ford’s S-Max is 1,884mm wide and the Renault Grand Scenic measures 1,845mm.
The smaller dimensions might mean the Citroen Grand C4 Picasso is easier to park than the competition, but it also means the third-row seats can’t truly accommodate passengers in comfort, unless they’re small children.
Overall length – 4,597 mm
Overall width (including door mirrors) – 2,117 mm
