Colour guide

Metallic - Midnight blue Free

A really strong colour for a very handsome car, this and best of all it’s the no-cost option. Midnight blue looks bright and attractive in direct sunlight, but darkens down and classes up when it’s duller out. It’s a very good combo with the DS 9’s long body shape. No real need to look any further to be honest.

Metallic - Pearl crystal Free

There are slightly beige tones in Pearl crystal in certain lights, which can be a bit dodgy for a big car such as the DS 9, but in general this is a colour that works very well, albeit it’s better under Mediterranean skies than ours.

Metallic - Perla nera black Free

A big four-door saloon finished in black is maybe not the most innovative option, but with the DS 9 being a big, posh, French four-door saloon, it does work rather well, although the acreage of contrast chrome on higher-spec models can make it all look a tough gaudy.

Metallic - Platinum grey Free

Platinum grey is a bit too dark and murky for the DS 9, which really needs a lighter shade to look at its absolute best. A shame that DS’ Artense grey isn’t offered instead as Platinum just sucks the life out of this shape.
