Nissan Micra (2013-2017) interior

Whoever designed the Micra’s interior obviously wasn’t keen to stick one overriding theme – the dashboard is a mess of circles and rectangles, with a few ovals thrown in for good measure.

Style

It’s a hard layout to navigate on the move and one that’s not helped by the random scattering of buttons for items such as the ventilation system and stereo.

The quality of the materials also falls wide of the mark. The interior is dominated by hard, scratchy plastics and even the door handles – which look metallic – turn out to be nothing more than painted plastic.

The Micra has excellent visibility, so you can spend less time looking at the drab interior

Infotainment

To get an infotainment system you’ll have to spec n-tec trim or above, but it is a reasonably good unit – it works logically and you can plan a route on your home PC then send it to the car, so you’re all set for a quick getaway. However, it still lags behind the best system because of its small screen and plain graphics.
