Drag race: BMW M440i vs Audi RS5

It’s time for a classic battle of four rings vs roundel as the Audi RS5 takes on the BMW M440i.
Let’s take a look at the Audi first. Being the full-fat RS5, it has a 2.9-litre twin-turbocharged V6 engine putting out 450hp and 600Nm of torque. This is fed through an eight-speed automatic gearbox to Audi’s Quattro all-wheel-dive system. It’s also the lightest car here, coming in at 1,720kg.
The BMW tips the scales at 1,900kg. Under the bonnet it has a 3.0-litre twin turbocharged straight-six engine with 374hp and 500Nm of torque. Like the Audi, it also has an eight-speed automatic and all-wheel-drive.
So will the more powerful Audi claim victory, or does the BMW have a few tricks up its sleeve? You’ll have to watch the race to find out.
